"Radio the way it used to be!"

Broadcast LIVE from the

Renfro Valley KOA Music Barn,

Every Tuesday night from 6-8 PM

If you remember the great old-time radio barn dances of years ago, back when real country entertainment by real country folks was what mattered, rather than overly staged perfection and overblown glitz then tune in each Tuesday night at WRVK 1460 AM or online at wrvk1460.com, for the Suppertime Julilee!!!  It truly is radio as it used to be, and is again, each Tuesday night from 6 until 8pm.

Featuring our cast of Suppertime Jubilee "regulars," including our house band, "Joy Hensley & The Right Stuff," and country comedy by Jason Proctor, was well as a different special guest each week, it's real old fashioned country entertainment as it was meant to be, in a real barn!

Broadcast live from our remote studio in the KOA Music Barn at the Renfro Valley KOA Kampground, every Tuesday night through October 28th.  Y'all are invited to come on out and see us, located in the Renfro Valley KOA Kampground Music Barn, on KOA Road, just off US 25, only about one mile north of I-75 Exit 62.

The Suppertime Jubilee show is sponsored by Renfro Valley KOA Kampground & Saylor's Furniture.  For more information or if you're interested in appearing on the show, give WRVK Office Manager Jeanine Lawrence a call at 606-256-2146, or email Jeanine at manager@wrvk1460.com.

UPCOMING SPECIAL GUESTS:

JULY 15:  Lamay & Reese (old time mountain and bluegrass music)

Suppertime Jubilee Cast Pics:

Pete Stamper - From Red Foley's Ozark Jubilee to the Grand Ole Opry, Pete Stamper has played on some mighty fine stages throughout the decades.  We're glad to have him on the Suppertime Jubilee's.  Pete is the emcee and gets the show going each Tuesday night, and always throws in some of his trademark brand of hilarious country comedy along the way as well.

Jeanine Lawrence - Featured vocalist.  Shown above belting out "Ode to Billy Joe," one of her most-requested numbers.

Move over Porter & Dolly.  Pete joins Jeanine for a duet.

Joy Hensley - Featured vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and leader of our house band, Joy Hensley & the Right Stuff.

Joy is also the Momma of featured vocalist David Hunt.

Roger Donahue - Featured vocalist and rhythm guitarist.  Roger also play steel guitar, and hopefully at some point in the future we may get him to do this on the Suppertime Jubilee.

James Cornelius - Lead guitarist and featured vocalist.

Jason Proctor - WRVK DJ who doubles as the Suppertime Jubilee's house comedian.

Above, Jason visits with Mrs. Bonnie Hysinger, one of WRVK Radio's most faithful longtime listeners when she came to watch the show in person.  Pictured below, Bonnie visits with Wayne Combs.

Lewis Edwards - Shown here playing bass, Lewis is much more at home behind the keyboard, which you'll hear him playing on the Suppertime Jubilee a lot.  Lewis is also a featured vocalist.

David Hunt - Featured vocalist.  David's outstanding version of the great bluegrass song "Mary Ann" is always a crowd favorite, but just about anything he sings is great, and great REAL country.

Pete and Old Grandpa having a good time.  Old Grandpa, aka Charles Saylor, (right) is the owner of WRVK Radio.

We have several different acts which frequently appear as special guests on the show.  One of these is Felix Brock & Gospel Harmony, pictured above.
